Jimmy Buckley & Band

One of Ireland’s most beloved country music entertainers, Jimmy Buckley is bringing his powerful voice, chart-topping hits and decades of live experience to the Tubbercurry Music Festival!

Jimmy has enjoyed a hugely successful career performing across Ireland, the UK, Europe and the USA, building a loyal following through his genuine connection with audiences and unmistakable stage presence. With countless sold-out theatre shows behind him, he remains one of the most recognisable and respected names in Irish country music.

His catalogue includes some of the best-known songs on the Irish country scene, including “Your Wedding Day”, “My Mother” and “The Grand Tour”. Over the years, Jimmy’s success has also been recognised with major industry awards, including Entertainer of the Year at the RTÉ Irish Country Music Awards, Male Vocalist of the Year at the Hot Country TV Awards and the Authentic Voice of Country Music award.

Jimmy is also one of the members of The Three Amigos, one of Ireland’s most successful country touring productions, which has consistently sold out theatres around the country. Away from the main touring circuit, he also hosts the hugely popular annual “Craic on the Costa” in Torremolinos, Spain — a two-week music and fan experience that attracts more than 1,000 supporters each year and regularly sells out well in advance.

A familiar face on Irish television, Jimmy has appeared on programmes including RTÉ’s Late Late Show, Ireland AM and Opry le Daniel. He has also played a role in supporting the next generation of Irish country talent, mentoring Jordan McPolin on TG4’s Glór Tíre, where Jordan went on to win the competition.

John Molloy

Popular Irish country singer John Molloy is bringing his powerful voice, natural charm and crowd-pleasing mix of country classics and Irish ballads to the Tubbercurry Music Festival!

Originally from County Westmeath and now living in Pullough, County Offaly, John has become one of the most popular and well-loved performers on the Irish social dancing circuit. His national breakthrough came in 2019 when he appeared on TG4’s long-running country music show Glór Tíre, where he was mentored by acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter Michael English. His warm personality and natural stage presence quickly made an impression, with judge Jo Ní Chéide memorably describing him as having “the glint of a rogue” in his eye.

Music has been a major part of John’s life from an early age. Growing up on the family farm, he listened to Irish country legends including Foster and Allen, Big Tom and Susan McCann, alongside American country star Buck Owens. An accomplished guitarist and button accordion player, John also competed in Fleadh Ceol competitions throughout the Midlands and Leinster during the 1980s.

Since his appearance on Glór Tíre, John has continued to build a successful career, performing across Ireland as well as the UK and Europe. He has also become a regular performer on Paul Claffey’s country music trips abroad, further strengthening his reputation as a dependable and hugely likeable live entertainer.

John’s recorded music includes two iTunes #1 singles, “The Greatest Gift Of All”, a duet with Sabrina Fallon, and “Don’t Tell Me What To Do”, along with releases such as “The Road” and “Sing Me Back Home”. In April 2020, he released his debut album, “Introducing John Molloy”.

REbel Hearts

Tipperary favourites Rebel Hearts are bringing more than 25 years of Irish music, powerful ballads and unforgettable live performances to the Tubbercurry Music Festival!

Formed in Tipperary in the late 1990s, Rebel Hearts began with a shared love of Irish music and quickly established themselves on the live circuit. Over the years, the band have developed a distinctive sound centred around traditional Irish tunes, rebel songs and much-loved ballads, delivered with the energy of a full live band and a genuine connection with their audience.

Their music has taken them across Ireland and far beyond, including a tour of Australia and countless performances for Irish communities abroad. Along the way, Rebel Hearts have shared stages with some of the biggest names in Irish folk, rock and ballad music, including The Saw Doctors, The Wolfe Tones, Shane MacGowan, Mundy, Paddy Casey, Hermitage Green and Foster & Allen.

The band have also built up their own catalogue of recorded music. Their first album, “Our Fight For Freedom”, helped establish their name, while more recent releases have shown that Rebel Hearts remain as passionate about Irish music as ever. In 2024, they released a version of Shane MacGowan’s “Lullaby of London” in tribute to the legendary Tipperary songwriter, followed in 2025 by “Dan Breen”, a song telling the story of the famous Tipperary revolutionary.

Eimhéar Ní Ghlacaín

Powerful vocalist and hugely popular Irish performer Eimhéar Ní Ghlacaín is bringing her passionate take on Irish ballads and rebel music to the Tubbercurry Music Festival!

Known to many fans as Eimhéar Rebel, Eimhéar has become one of the best-known performers on the modern Irish rebel music scene. Her heartfelt and commanding renditions of traditional ballads have helped her build a dedicated following at home and abroad, earning her the nickname the “Queen of Irish Rebel”. Today, her music has amassed more than 17 million streams, while her live performances continue to attract audiences across Ireland, Britain and beyond.

Eimhéar has released an extensive catalogue of music over the years. Her albums include “Irish Rebel Singer (Ireland Longs to Be Free)”, “A Thorn in England’s Side” and the 2024 release “10 Years on the Rebel Road”.
